Hair:
Lauren’s dress has a simple twist in front and so it's nice to use that as the feeling for the hair. Everything is rope twists (2 pieces instead of 3 like a braid) and pinned into a low chignon shape.

Makeup:
Is there a more perfect place to wear glitter than to the InStyle party? I think not! But understated glitter of course. First you should use the nude shade on her lid + crease and the chocolate shade on your lower lash line, then you dab the glitter shade all over your lid using your ring finger to deposit the glitter. Next wing the top lash line with black liquid liner and follow with two coats of mascara and 8 individual lashes on each eye.  Then finish the look with a peach cheek + shimmery nude lip gloss.
